Sim Land Important Announcement

Dear all members and staff,
I am hereby tending my resignation from Sim Land permanently as of August 1, 2009. I'm afraid I will not change my mind with this decision, as I have thought about this a lot.

There are several reasons behind my decision which are the following:
- I will move onto new projects in the future, so I've decided to give up this one.
- I may not have enough time for the site during that year, due to my education and personal life.
- I feel I've done all I can with the site and it will do better in the hands of someone else.

Before my exit, I should complete all my shows and also sort any issues that need to be sorted. The Huckool websites etc. should also be sorted by that time. I am nominating Nathan to replace me if he is still here at that time. But that will be dealt with more as we near the time.

I hope everyone understands the motives behind my exit, but it's still a long way off, so until then, we'll look forward to The Sims 3 until further notice.

It's a shame your leaving Conor, but hopefully you'll stay on with your shows. You are a brilliant show producer, and it's understandable the reasons you are leaving. It's just sad that you are leaving, when Sim Land is so young.

Thank you for the compliment, Thomas. Sim Land will be over a year old by the time I'm gone, so it should be stable enough. I'll still keep in touch with you all when I quit this, on MSN or whatever.

Yeah, most likely new sites.

What position does this put the site being transferred to my server? Should this still continue?

That decision will be made by Nathan, as he is replacing me.
