End to the Ross Brand
So, what do people make out of the comments Jonathon Woss and Wussell Brand made about the former Manuel of Fawlty Towers actor's daughter?
It's criminal enough the amount of stuff they get away with anyway, so hopefully they'll get the same criminal convictions any citizen would get, which would be six months in jail (though if they're doing that kind of thing on national radio, it should be longer).
I hate the amount of money people in the entertainment industry get, and how they get away with everything, so hopefully charges against them will set some examples...

I do like Russell Brand, and although I'm not sure what he did, it does found pretty stupid.
And Jonathan Ross plainly does not deserve the £6m a year stolen off taxpayers.

No wonder people are protesting against the TV licence, when it pays diviots like them. But as soon as they're fired, they'll just get picked up by someone else. Brand has been busted for drugs in the past, and now he's bigger than ever. Just like Amy Winehouse... Pete Doherty... George Michael...
I'd like to see how long I'd stay in my job if I made a remark like that to a customer...

Brand's quit his Radio 2 show, whilst Ross has been suspended, and probably will be forced to quit his BBC Radio job. Sachs doesn't want to proceed criminal charges.
Not sure how it could affect Friday Night, but it'd be quite major should be leave the BBC altogether.

There won't be any Friday Night with Jonathon Ross either this week or next. Because they were supposed to film today and because he's suspended, he wasn't able to.

Justice has prevailed. I hope Ross's massive yearly pay check is dramatically severed. See his ego drop...

Re: End to the Ross Brand
I'm pretty sure the first episode of the second series of 'Russell Brand's Ponderland' will continue tonight on Channel Four as per planned, but Brand has definitely quit his Radio 2 job.
I bet Ross will probably bounce back. I'm actually quite irritated by the media backlash - although it was the lazy editors for not pretending to send the messages to Sachs (e.g., cutting just after the "you've reached Sachs.." bit), or sensing the media fury, cutting it out altogether. They had a week to do it.
Also, the ten thousand plus complaints are just farcical. Why complain unless you've listened to the show with knowledge of Brand's comedy style and seriously been offended by it? I bet some people only sent in a complaint for the sake of making a complaint - probably at least four thousand complainers didn't even listen to the freakin' show.
